Account Executive
This was a super thorough interview with the sales director and senior sales director. They did aptitude tests, role playing, and charter validation. I already submitted for the background check, so hopefully that means they'll extend an offer (which I declined). I'm excited about using my sales skills and real estate knowledge at News Corp. The whole process was very thorough and they got it all done in one four-hour appointment. Be ready to answer a lot of questions about your character, sales skills, and account management knowledge. You should know the different types of sales objections and their terms. After reading reviews here on Glassdoor, I decided to decline the offer.
- Tell me about three accomplishments you are proud of, and be creative with your answer.
Account Executive
I applied on LinkedIn and online. The recruiter called me to schedule an interview and sent me some info along with the manager's name. On the day of the interview, I ended up speaking with two employees instead of the manager. They went through some questions quickly and then it was over. It felt very rushed and they didn't seem very approachable. Honestly, they didn't do a great job of selling the company or the workplace to me.
- Could you try to sell me something, anything at all?
Senior Account Executive
Applied online, had a first phone call, then met 2 Managers in person. They asked sales related questions, it wasn't too hard. Then they asked some basic interview questions, and I got the offer.
- Describe your sales process.
