RealSelf's interview process included a recruiter screen, a phone interview with the hiring manager, an in-person interview with various employees, and a final in-person meeting with the CEO. It was a really relaxed and conversational process, which I enjoyed. I liked getting to ask the CEO questions about the company. They also gave me a Starbucks gift card as a thank you for coming in.

Had 2 interviews. First one was good and informative, but the second one was just awkward because the person had very little personality over the phone. Mostly one-word answers and very little information was given about the position itself. It was like talking to a wall. I hung up no longer being interested in the position based on my conversation with the 2nd interviewer.

I had my first interview with a recruiter, and it went well. They asked standard questions about my experience and how it fit the job. The following week, I interviewed with my potential manager. We had a great conversation, and I felt really good about the position. The recruiter contacted me the next day, saying the feedback was very positive and that I was a great candidate for a role opening in a few weeks. They asked if I'd be willing to wait, and I said yes immediately. Two weeks later, I followed up for an update, but got no response. A week after that, I followed up again, politely asking about developments. Still no response. I emailed a week later, and again, nothing. I understand things change, but not getting any response, even to say they weren't interested, was discouraging, especially since they asked me to wait while they 'ironed out details.' During that waiting period, I stopped my job search because I thought this was it, and I wasn't interested in anything else. It was my fault for stopping my search, but after two good interviews and positive feedback, I expected at least a reply saying something. Maybe my thank you note was too eager? Who knows. It wasn't meant to be, their loss!
