The interview process at Realself, from the initial phone call to the in-person meeting, was a really positive experience. I met with the sales directors and recruiting team at their office, and everyone was genuinely nice and made me feel very welcome. The office itself is impressive, with lots of great amenities for employees. The interview went well; they inquired about my sales background and the key performance indicators from my past roles. They also discussed potential difficulties I might encounter selling a service, given my prior experience selling physical products. Additionally, they asked about my most memorable sale and why it stood out. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would be eager to join Realself if another opportunity arises.

The interview process was really straightforward and the questions were good. I initially spoke with recruiter Amy Shook a couple months back about a different role that wasn't the right fit. She reached out again for this one. Amy was fantastic throughout (and I used to recruit, so I'm tough to please!). The whole team was friendly, engaging, and professional. No curveballs or weird questions. The hiring manager was clearly very emotionally intelligent and was upfront and honest about the role and where the company stands right now. The process included an interview with Amy, then the hiring manager, and finally a Zoom loop with 5 people. It was tough doing Zoom for four hours straight, but overall it was a really positive experience. Amy followed up as she said she would within a few days, gave me the feedback I asked for, and honestly, I was glad to hear they hired an internal candidate who could get up to speed quickly, especially since they had just had layoffs of 60 employees.

It was a standard interview process. We had multiple rounds with different members of the sales org. The team was very welcoming and the process seemed transparent, nothing was out of scope from the recruiter call.
