The process was great, I really enjoyed both the interview and the panel. The interviewers seem to really love what they do and made that apparent during the interview. Everyone was very friendly and they want to see you succeed, offering advice on how to do so. Overall, it was a really positive experience.

The hiring process takes a few weeks, though it moves quicker if you have an internal referral. It starts with a recruiter phone call for standard background questions. Then, there's an in-person interview with potential managers who ask about your motivations for sales, handling pressure, and meeting KPIs. The final interview is with the VP of Sales, which can feel intimidating, but they're mostly testing your resilience by asking similar questions and pushing you further. They might ask how you'd handle an uninterested person. You typically hear back very quickly after the final interview, often the next day. While the process itself is straightforward, office politics and favoritism can play a significant role.

I had a screening, then an interview. We talked about my resume. They asked me why I was interested in RealPage, how I'd approach a prospect, and about NOI. Then I had to do 3 recordings doing role plays. It helps to know the property management industry.
