Marketing Associate
I had a phone interview that was at least 20 minutes. They told me to make sure it was quiet because any noise would count against me. Then, I had an in-person interview. While waiting, I had to fill out another application online even though I'd already done one. After that, I took a typing test, needing at least 40 wpm, with three tries. I had to print the results to prove I met the speed. Then I was called to the 'green room' with a funny green table. Two men interviewed me; one was friendly, the other was quiet and mostly took notes. At the end, they had me read a script to check enunciation and urgency creation. They didn't give me a clear indication of getting the job but made me feel like I had a chance.
- Given your background of being physically active in previous roles, can you adapt to sitting and focusing on a computer screen for an entire eight-hour workday?
- Would you be able to read this script to demonstrate your enunciation and ability to convey urgency?
Marketing Associate
It was a really great process. I met with over 8 people for an entry-level position. They really make sure you truly understand the job and the requirements. I even got to listen to live calls to see what the job was like. Everyone from the receptionist to the Recruiting Manager were very friendly and honest about the company and the position. I was amazed at how detailed and in-depth everything was. They really want to hire the best of the best. Best advice is be honest, and understand what you are applying for. Most jobs are based on the phone. They can lead to advancement, but like anywhere, you have to pay your dues.
- What makes you think you'd succeed in this role?
Marketing Associate
It was a straightforward and fast process; I got the job offer right away. I didn't have to wait around, and they seemed genuinely keen to hire the people they interviewed. However, the company has issues with how they treat their staff.
- Can you tell me about a past success you've had?
