I was contacted by two different recruiters from Real Staffing about a 12-month position with their client. The first recruiter called me a lot on the same day, and I sent my resume and other info right away. But, he never followed up, and stopped responding to my emails and calls. I had a similar thing happen with another Real Staffing recruiter about a month ago. It's totally unprofessional to reach out to job seekers, ask for their resumes and details, and then not give any updates and stop all communication!

This was a terrible recruiting experience. They scheduled a phone call but the recruiter didn't have my resume and had to ask me to email it. She then mentioned that since I haven't worked in the XYZ industry, this agency might not be a good fit. I clarified that I'm seeking permanent positions, and she revealed she exclusively recruits for contract roles. It felt like a complete waste of my time, especially after preparing and waiting for the call, only for it to be an email exchange about my job search goals.

I got an internal referral to the Internal Recruitment (IR) team. First, I had a phone call with someone from the IR team. She asked about my background and if I was interested in sales. After that, I was invited to a group interview day at the San Francisco office. There were 12 other candidates with me. I was interviewed one-on-one by managers from different teams. For those who made it past that stage, we had to prepare a 'Shark Tank' style presentation and pitch it to Senior Team Managers, Directors, and the VP of the San Francisco office.

The whole thing took three weeks, even though the interviews themselves were done in just one week. They took way too long to get back with feedback, and the final rejection was super unprofessional because they waited so long to tell me. I tried following up with three different people, like 3 times each, and never heard back. I had basically forgotten about it until the TA specialist finally got back to me with some lame excuse about being out of office, even though one of the others said she was actually in. It was a really unprofessional candidate experience, and honestly, it makes me wonder what kind of experience they give to the people they're trying to recruit.
