The interview process was quite unorganized and not very professional, felt a bit egoistic too. I had a first round interview that went really well. But then, the second interviewer rescheduled on me twice, with one reschedule happening just 10 minutes before the planned time. The email for the second interview mentioned it would be an Excel case study, but it ended up being a repeat of the first interview. To top it off, the second interview was conducted by someone else because my original interviewer was unavailable.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The communication was very good, starting with initial contact via LinkedIn. There were a total of 3 rounds with employees from different hierarchical levels. The first interview focused on career history, motivation, and especially personal fit, with someone who also works operationally in the position. The second interview involved a pre-shared case study that was the focus of the call. This needed good preparation as questions were asked about it. The third interview involved higher-level content questions, moving beyond purely operational aspects to assess analytical understanding. Overall, all conversations were structured, recruiters usually responded quickly, and everyone was very friendly. The culture also seems to fit, very startup-like with a fast pace.

So, I had a phone call first, just asking about the basic stuff on my CV. Then, I went to the office for an interview, which I was kinda looking forward to. But, like, the vibe was off. The office itself was messy, felt like a bunch of kids hanging out. Honestly, it was pretty gross and not welcoming, especially for a woman. Then, the intern kicked things off with the same questions from the phone call. After waiting like 20 mins, the manager did the same thing, asking the exact same questions but was super cold. Then, another 30 min wait for the CEO. He finally showed up, totally unprepared, and asked me to look up my LinkedIn profile and asked questions based on that. I just gave him a quick rundown of my CV and bounced, knew it wasn't the place for me.
