First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Raytheon.
System Administrator
I had one interview over Microsoft Teams with two managers. It was about 40 minutes long. They asked about my career, why I wanted the job, and if I was looking for something long-term.
- What is your motivation for wanting to join our company?
- Could you describe your career path so far?
- What specifically about this role interests you?
Systems Engineer
It was a basic star interview for an entry-level position. We talked about my resume and relevant school projects. Then there were panel style interviews with 5-6 engineers from different sites, and each engineer had varying disciplines. Practice STAR questions, be able to explain your resume in depth, and be prepared to answer questions about it.
- Can you tell us about your contribution to your senior design project?
Systems Engineer Intern
This interview process included about 10 behavioral questions and some questions about the roles on your resume. It felt like a conversation, but it might be different for others since more people could be invited to the interview.
- If you have a disagreement with a coworker who has higher seniority, how would you approach coming to a solution?
