First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Raytheon.
Electrical Engineer Intern
They asked me some technical questions over teams. It was only one person that interviewed me. They explained the internship projects and what would be expected if I got the job.
- How would you go about resolving specific technical problems?
Electrical Engineer
It was a two-step interview process. First, I had a phone call with a manager. Then, there was a group chat with several engineers where they asked tech questions about things like the RTL design process and how to handle time conflicts. It was pretty chill.
- What makes you want to work for Raytheon?
Electrical Engineer
So, the interview was like a 1.5 hour call with an engineer first, and then the manager jumped on afterward. We started with intros, then they asked me stuff about my resume. After that, the engineer showed me some circuits and asked how they work. They showed me a weird parallel resistor combo, a voltage reference circuit, an indicator LED circuit, a buck regulator circuit, and a flyback converter circuit. Pretty much just asked what they do. Then the manager came on and asked a bunch of resume questions, which were all pretty standard.
