Summer Analyst
It was a decent process. They asked a couple of rogue questions but overall it was good. During the phone interview, we discussed a Raymond James deal, and then they brought it up again in the follow-up interview, but this time asking about a different Raymond James deal.
- Why are you interested in Raymond James?
- Can you tell me about a recent deal involving Raymond James?
Analyst
It was a pretty straightforward process, with good and fast communication. Took about 4 or 5 steps. Started with a Zoom call with the recruiter, then the manager. After that, there was a case study, and then a final interview with four different department heads. Overall, it was a really good experience.
- A case study related to the job responsibilities was presented.
Analyst
Over a few months, I talked with about five different people from the company. The final interviews involved three employees. Most of the questions were behavioral, but there were also some technical questions about markets and current news, specifically referencing Wall Street Journal articles. The initial three interviews, before the final ones, were entirely behavioral and about thirty minutes long each.
- Can you demonstrate your ability to succeed in a competitive setting?
- How do you approach competitive environments?
- Do you perform well under pressure in competitive situations?
