It was phone and then in person. It was with my eventual boss and the in person interview included a shadow of a current admissions advisor. This was my first job out of undergraduate. The interview had some difficult questions, but if you prepared to some of the standard "Tell me an example when" questions you will do just fine.

They first called me for a Zoom interview. It wasn't a video call, more like a phone conversation. She asked me about my previous jobs, what experience I had, and how it would fit the role I was applying for. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview on campus.

I had a total of 4 interviews over a 2 week period. The first was a phone call with the recruiter, who was very nice. The second was a phone interview with a supervisor. Then, I had an in-person interview with another supervisor. They asked standard questions like 'walk me through your resume,' 'what did you like about your last 2 jobs,' and 'what did you dislike about them.' The final interview was with the assistant VP of admissions, though the recruiter made a mistake and scheduled it for the wrong day. I showed up a day early, which was inconvenient. The recruiter apologized and told me the correct date was the next day, admitting she gave me the wrong date. I felt a bit discouraged because I had to take time off from my current job. The last interview was much like the ones with the supervisors, with the VP asking most of the questions. I really felt a connection with all the supervisors. I was really disappointed when I got an email from the recruiter stating they had eliminated the position for another Program Manager and closed the job opening. I invested a lot of time in their interview process and found it strange they put me through such a lengthy process if they weren't going to hire anyone for the role.

I think I found the Adjunct Instructor - Medical Assisting job posting on Craigslist. The first interview was a phone call with CP, who was really nice and easy to talk to. Then, they scheduled an in-person meeting in Ocala where we discussed my previous experience and my interest in part-time work. After that, I met with CP's manager, the Program Director, who was also very professional and approachable. Once I got the offer, I was given the syllabus, books, and other materials I'd be using for the course.
