Fullstack Engineer
The first step was with HR. She was really nice and positive. She gave me a quick intro to the company and a brief overview of what to expect in the process. I liked our chat and felt good about the role and the next steps.
- What makes you want to join Rapyd?
Full Stack Developer
The process included 3 interviews: HR, a technical coding session on Zoom, and a technical interview on site that involved coding and system design. The level was fair for an experienced Javascript and ReactJS developer. I asked for interviewer feedback by mail after failing the last interview and got no response, other than that, people were nice and professional.
- Can you tell me about your experience with React, specifically regarding data structures and rendering components?
- Describe a feature you developed and walk me through its design process.
Senior Fullstack Developer
The interview process included an initial HR chat, followed by a home exam. After that, there was an interview with the tech lead and another with the R&D Team Lead. The exam itself was quite basic, and the interviews were pretty straightforward, mainly focusing on questions related to react, express, and mysql.
- Can you explain what useEffect is in react?
- Could you write some sql queries?
- What is middleware in the context of express?
