The interview process took a bit over a month. After I applied, HR reached out for an initial screening. Then, I had my first interview with the Lead, followed by a second interview with two management members. The third interview was a presentation to a panel of three people. I do think Raptor could make their process more efficient, maybe just two stages. I met many team members and felt it went well, but sadly, they chose someone else. I appreciated the call back and not being ghosted, which has happened to me before.

Started with a recruiter call, then had 3 interview rounds. The last interview was with the department director and the COO. The first few rounds were kind of weird and not typical interviews, but the final one was more standard.

A recruiter contacted me about this role since I was looking into similar jobs. I had a few interviews planned, but after learning more about the company, I was eager to continue because it aligned with my career goals. The recruiter was friendly and gave me a lot of details about the job, like pay and travel. They wanted to fill two positions in two weeks and quickly set up an interview for me with the implementation team lead, then with the implementation manager the next morning. Their energy suggested they were hiring fast. They set up a final virtual interview with the director overseas, who seemed really interested in me, said I was a good fit, and mentioned HR would make a decision soon. I mentioned I had other final interviews, but I was most excited about this one and would wait. She agreed they'd move fast to get things going. This whole process took only seven days and had four stages, which initially seemed great. But even though they said a decision was coming soon, I heard nothing. I followed up with the recruiter, but a week later, I got a quick message saying they were still interviewing, which was different from what they said before. Eventually, I found out the job went to someone else, and then I saw it posted again online. When I asked for feedback, the only response I got was from an HR partner who never spoke to me, saying the recruiter left and they were looking for other candidates. It's one thing not to get the job after four rounds. It's another to be told by the hiring team you're great and to wait, despite your other interviews, only to be ghosted and then basically lied to when you ask why and they repost the job. This experience, and what others have said, makes it seem like the hiring team just wants to keep candidates interested until they find someone, but they don't take responsibility for being clear about their decisions.
