Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rapport (London).
Receptionist
The first stage was a rapport-building chat where they assessed your rapport value, knowledge of the client, and your personality. The second stage involved a conversation with the client where you were asked to discuss your experience and demonstrate your passion for customer service.
- Could you tell me about your rapport value?
- What are your plans for the next five years?
- What information do you have regarding the client?
Receptionist
The hiring process was really fast, with three interviews in total. All of them were conducted over Zoom and were quite dynamic and provided a lot of good information, which was great. They followed up quickly, and the entire process took about two weeks from start to finish.
- Can you share an example of a time when working together as a team helped to overcome a challenge?
Receptionist
I had a great conversation with the interviewer, who was very sweet and lovely. She seemed really happy with my answers and said I'd be a great fit. Our chat lasted almost an hour. She mentioned she had two more candidates to see the following week, but I got rejected before they even interviewed. This makes me think about why I was rejected; it felt like I didn't have the 'ideal physical look' they wanted, maybe she wasn't expecting a Black and Muslim woman. It's a pity, especially since I was impressed by Rapport's DEI values and talked about them a lot during the interview.
- Could you introduce yourself, explain your current duties, and state why you're looking to leave your present position?
- What information do you have about Rapport?
- What motivates your desire to work as a receptionist?
