First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rapport (London).
Receptionist
The first stage was a rapport-building chat where they assessed your rapport value, knowledge of the client, and your personality. The second stage involved a conversation with the client where you were asked to discuss your experience and demonstrate your passion for customer service.
- Could you tell me about your rapport value?
- What are your plans for the next five years?
- What information do you have regarding the client?
Guest Ambassador
It was a really long interview process, with about six interviews in total. During these interviews, you'll be asked about a time you went above and beyond for someone. You'll also be asked about your past work experiences and your motivations for working in hospitality.
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations to help someone at your company?
- Describe your previous work experiences.
- What makes you want to pursue a career in hospitality?
IT Service Desk Coordinator
I had an initial screening interview on Teams, then another one with one head of operations, then one on-site with the Front of House Reception supervisor and finally one with the client. It was a very good process overall and just a couple of days after the final interview I got a follow up email saying they didn’t have the chance to discuss the outcome yet but hopefully they would update me soon. 4 days later they called me to say unfortunately I wasn’t successful, which I was obviously sad about but I really appreciated it wasn’t just a generic rejection email.
- Can you describe your experience using CAFM software?
Manager
The interviewers seemed nice at first, but the overall experience lacked warmth. They kept implying my answers weren't good enough and made me repeat them until I asked to move on. It was a bummer to spend so much time and money traveling to London and then not even get a rejection email when they said they'd be in touch.
- Can you share a scenario where you had to deal with a challenging situation and explain your approach?
- Tell me about a time you had to make a difficult choice and what happened as a result.
- What's your strategy for managing disagreements within a team?
