Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with a technical round where a panel of two members assessed my domain knowledge in Android and Java, and asked for practical examples of OOPS concepts. After that, there was an HR round where they inquired about my reasons for wanting to join the company and my motivation for seeking a new job. The results were communicated about 3-4 days later.
- Could you share which design patterns you've implemented in your projects?
- Tell me about your knowledge of the Android and Java domains.
- Can you give me some real-world examples demonstrating your understanding of OOPS concepts?
Software Engineer
I applied directly, and HR responded super fast, like within 10 minutes of me sending my resume. A day later, the telephonic round was set up with the team lead, which went well. The questions covered basics up to complex topics, plus stuff about my projects. After the phone call, a week passed, and then I had the manager interview in person at the office. Honestly, the manager interview was the worst I've ever had, really bad attitude, almost insulting my experience and current job. I usually see interviews as a learning opportunity and don't stress about the outcome. I've done many interviews that have helped my career a lot.
- Can you discuss your past projects?
- What specific questions do you have about my projects?
- Explain the difference between Activities and Fragments and their lifecycles.
Software Developer
Started with an HR call after my resume was shortlisted. Then a technical interview with one person who seemed to have a good grasp of the overall development scene. I was qualified for the next round, which was another technical interview with two people, a guy and a girl. The guy asked questions and kept laughing for no reason between them, looking at the girl each time. The girl didn't ask anything, even when the guy prompted her, seeming a bit nervous. She asked 10 questions, and I answered about 7. I wasn't selected. The HR sent an email in the evening asking for details and papers, but there was no response after that. Inquiries with HR were met with no response. Upon further inquiry, I was told the position was on hold.
- Hey girl do you want to ask anything?
