First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RapidValue Solutions.
Module Lead
The interview process started with a telephonic interview where they asked core Android and Java questions. Then there was a Skype round with similar questions but less difficulty. After that, a manager round explained the company and role, and asked about my current responsibilities and problem-solving approaches. Finally, I had an HR round at the office where we discussed CTC expectations. After submitting documents, there was no communication. When I followed up, the HR mentioned the position was on hold and later revealed they filled it internally, citing CTC as the reason for not being able to afford an experienced candidate. I found this company culture poor and decided it was for the best that I didn't join.
- Can you discuss basic to advanced concepts in Android and Java?
Business Development Manager
They aren't very transparent. The first interview was a phone call where they asked about my past experience. Then I had a detailed phone interview with the VP of Business Development, which I did well on. After that, I had an HR interview where they asked if I could join in two weeks. Suddenly, I was called for another interview, which I also did. The interviewer asked if I could join in a week, and I said yes. The next thing I knew, I was waiting for an offer letter that never arrived. I emailed HR and they responded that I wasn't shortlisted. When I asked for feedback, I never heard back.
- Can you share details about your previous work experience?
Software Engineer
I applied directly, and HR responded super fast, like within 10 minutes of me sending my resume. A day later, the telephonic round was set up with the team lead, which went well. The questions covered basics up to complex topics, plus stuff about my projects. After the phone call, a week passed, and then I had the manager interview in person at the office. Honestly, the manager interview was the worst I've ever had, really bad attitude, almost insulting my experience and current job. I usually see interviews as a learning opportunity and don't stress about the outcome. I've done many interviews that have helped my career a lot.
- Can you discuss your past projects?
- What specific questions do you have about my projects?
- Explain the difference between Activities and Fragments and their lifecycles.
Business Analyst
Overall the interview process was good. They were looking for candidates who had prior experience and a good understanding of what business analysis entails. There were three rounds in total: a general skills-based round, a presentation round, and an HR round.
- Could you discuss your experience with people management?
- Can you walk me through a business case?
- Tell me about your past experience.
