Marketing Operations and Analytics Manager
This was a pretty extensive interview process, one of the most involved I've experienced. It included 5 interviews, 2 assessments, and a case study. The process kicked off with a 30-minute recruiter call, no video. Before meeting the hiring manager, I had to complete a timed aptitude test (Assessment 1). Then came the hiring manager interview, which lasted 30-45 minutes. Assessment 2 was a color test. Following that, I had two separate 45-minute interviews with team members, either dotted line or direct reports. The case study involved two distinct problems requiring solution proposals. The process concluded with Interview 5, a presentation of the case study to the hiring manager and the CMO.

People Operations Business Partner
I went through 6 interviews and 2 assessments, plus a 4-hour project and a presentation. Sadly, I was rejected at the final stage without any feedback. All I got was that I was missing one small, specific experience which they knew about by interview #3. They were rigid about my schedule, and honestly, I felt they didn't respect my time. Asking a candidate to complete a 4-hour project that addresses a current business challenge is too much. Projects should be shorter, like 1-2 hours max, and relevant to the job but not a real-life, current problem - that's basically free consulting. I already had doubts about them due to how they handled my time, but their refusal to give any feedback after I passed through their 7-step process was the worst part. It's a red flag for anyone considering applying.

Product Designer
The interview process is long and arduous. It culminates in a portfolio review and a same-day interview with a high-level product person. Beyond the interviews themselves, the process struggles with timely and respectful candidate management. After completing all 5 interviews on a Wednesday, I was told a decision would be made the following week. The next Wednesday arrived, and I was informed of a delay until the week after. The following Tuesday at 6 pm, approximately two weeks after my interviews, I received an email stating the team had decided and I should schedule a brief ~10-minute call for the next day. This call turned out to be a rejection. The phone call itself was only a minute long, offering no opportunity for questions or feedback. This experience felt like a significant waste of my time and was very misleading. Scheduling a rejection call for the next day is highly unusual. Until RapidSOS addresses feedback on this process, expect your time not to be taken seriously. I haven't felt this disrespected in an interview process before.

Account Manager
The process was quick and seamless. It starts with a recruiter who was very nice and engaging. She was thorough in her questions and asked what I was looking for to see if it was a good match. The second step was an assessment to see if I likely met the needs of the role from a personality perspective. This wasn't very transparent but I assume that is what it is used to try and measure. This was followed by meeting with the hiring manager/CRO/VP of People. Nothing out of the ordinary in the interview process. Some situational questions were asked to see how I would respond. Overall, everyone was very nice and the mission of the company is very noble.
