Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Randstad US.
Technical Recruiter
I had a great experience interviewing with Randstad. The whole process was smooth, professional, and very well organized from start to finish. The recruiter was clear, responsive, and took the time to explain each step, which made everything feel comfortable and easy to follow. I really appreciated the consistent communication and the level of respect shown for my time. I was kept informed throughout the process, and nothing felt rushed or confusing. Overall, Randstad made a strong and positive impression on me, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for new job opportunities or career guidance.
- Can you tell me about a difficult situation you've faced at work and how you handled it?
- What is your current availability?
- In what type of work environment do you thrive the most?
Recruiter
Everything moved fast initially: first contact, two interviews scheduled with the account manager and the US head, plus psychometric tests. The whole process took 3 weeks, but they never closed it out. I had to assume someone else was chosen, and the three people involved ghosted me. The workload doesn't justify ghosting candidates.
- What are the main KPIs you've worked with in recruitment?
- What "unconventional" sources would you use to recruit talent in countries where you are not physically located?
Staffing Manager
First, I had a phone call with a recruiter. It was a casual chat to get acquainted and go over the job duties, and then they sent me to the next part. The next step was a video meeting with a Staffing Team Leader. This was a more official interview, and I got to learn about the team I'd be joining. After the Team Leader gave the okay on my personality and how I answered things, I had a video interview with the Staffing Director. The director asked pretty much the same things the Team Lead did.
- Can you share your experience with targeting QPIs?
