Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Randstad US.
Data Entry Clerk
There were a lot of candidates interviewed so I had to wait around an hour. The interview started formally and included a technical part where I was asked about Excel. I had to sort data, generate charts, and make a pivot table. Later, the interview turned more casual. They finished by giving me a quick tour of the workplace.
- What's your method for selecting all data in an Excel sheet?
- Are you more of an introvert or an extrovert?
- What are your thoughts on working under female leadership?
Data Entry Clerk
It was a really quick interview, super crowded because they were understaffed that day. Lots of people were applying for the same job opening, so it felt very rushed and I felt overlooked. On the plus side, the staff was really nice and friendly, which helped make the rushed, crowded feeling a bit lighter. They were very friendly.
- Could you tell me about where you live and if the commute would be an issue?
- What's the reason for the gap in your work experience?
Data Entry Clerk
This is for temp-to-hire agency positions. We talked about job skills and what types of positions were open. You'll need to take a typing test for the job you're applying for. A drug test is mandatory. Full background check and fingerprinting are required.
- How do you handle pressure?
- How well do you work with others?
