Assistant Manager
A recruiter reached out to me via email, shared the job description and asked for my availability, and we scheduled for an interview. The interview process was smooth and easy. The recruiter was respectful and gave me all the details that I needed regarding the job.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your salary expectations?
Delivery Manager
Got contacted by an Account Manager who did a preliminary Phone Screen and sent my resume to the Hiring Manager (HM). Then I had a Phone Interview with the HM, which lasted about 45 minutes and covered the position, objectives, and goals for the role. After that, I got a link to complete the Hogan Personality Test (around 300 questions). The next day, I was scheduled to go to the Branch office to take the Wonderlic Cognitive Test (Math, LA, etc.) and the Raven IQ/Progressive Matrices Test (Puzzles). I sent a Thank You Letter to the HM. The Account Manager then set up an On-site interview with the HM, which was pretty straightforward, reiterating points from the initial phone interview. Following that, I had a Phone Interview with the Senior Vice President (SVP) that went for over an hour; it was thorough and STAR/Behaviorial based, so I had to be concise, detailed, and ready with examples. A verbal offer came from the Account Manager, and the On-boarding team started the Background Screening. Finally, I received the Formal Offer Letter.
- Tell me about your detailed examples related to the position, objectives, and overall goals for the role.
- Can you provide detailed examples using the STAR method?
- Be concise and detailed with your examples.
Manager
It was an in-person interview that happened onsite. It was formal and had multiple stages with the hiring manager and reporting manager, but I didn't meet any colleagues. The interview was in a small, impersonal office space. It was an okay interview, but be ready to take an online personality test to figure out your personality type. Not sure if it's a big part of the hiring decision though.
- What are your 5-year career goals?
- Can you share an example of a time when you experienced something relevant?
