Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Randstad Digital.
Consultant
L'intera esperienza è stata patetica e poco professionale.

Consultant
The hiring process included 3 interviews and a technical test. First, a video call with 2 managers for mutual introductions and getting to know each other. Second, another video interview with a lead developer focusing on technical aspects. Lastly, an in-person meeting to see the office and discuss a contract offer.

I was contacted in April 2019 after updating my online profile. The recruiter explained Ausy's history, their acquisition by Randstad, and ongoing changes. She asked standard questions and about my salary expectations, confirming they were reasonable. We then scheduled an in-person interview. The in-person interview went well. We discussed my profile and the company in more detail (vision, mission types, organization, benefits, etc.). She asked again about my salary expectations, which I confirmed. She then mentioned it might be complicated but offered a slightly lower, yet reasonable salary, promising training and certification in areas that interest me and would improve my profile. Since I was employed, they asked if I could shorten my notice period to facilitate client presentations, which I agreed to try. After considering, I decided to sign with them in April for a CDI starting in July, ending my job search. I had planned to leave my previous job to be available all of June (to ease client presentations and availability), expecting to 'lose' a month's salary, which didn't bother me then. I had two interviews and few viable mission proposals. July arrived, my start date, and my sales rep informed me that management felt there were too many consultants on inter-contract, no missions available, and asked me to postpone my start date by a month. I refused, and my probationary period ended then. The day I refused to postpone my start date, a consultant who found my CV online called me (I had updated my CV after learning my probation would be skipped). I asked if they had a real mission matching my profile or just wanted to add me to their prospect list; they assured me they did. I then mentioned I was already signed with Ausy but my trial period was ending due to a lack of positions, and I found it strange they were contacting me about available positions when it was a desert once inside. In any case, I'm staying in touch, but this experience showed me that a job offer from Ausy is worth less than the paper it's written on.
