First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ramco Systems.
Project Trainee
The interview process was pretty straightforward. It kicked off with an online assessment and a written test, and then moved into two technical interview rounds. They filter candidates after each stage. The online assessment and written test were mainly about DSA, and the interview rounds explored CS core subjects, projects, and DSA.
- Can you tell me about linked lists?
- What are the concepts of DBMS normalization?
- How does OS process management work?
Software Engineer
The process usually starts with HR screening resumes, then an initial call to check communication and basic eligibility. After that, candidates go to a technical round to assess problem-solving, coding, and core concepts. Sometimes there's a managerial round for communication, decision-making, and teamwork. The HR round covers salary negotiation, company policies, and confirming the joining date. After clearing all stages, you get the offer letter and onboarding.
- Can you tell me about arrays?
- What do you know about Java?
- Explain Python.
Product Manager
I went through about 5-7 calls, mostly revolving around my experience and a specific assignment. I managed to reach the final stage. While the senior employees were quite respectful, I found the incoming CEO to be a bit presumptuous, making some assumptions based on our discussion. HR was communicative throughout the process but ultimately ghosted me.
- Could you develop a PLM map for one of our products?
Intern
Interviews are super important for showing off what you can do and who you are. They're basically chats with questions and stuff to see if you'd be a good fit. Like, I had one recently for a job at a tech company that really cared about how well you could talk to people and roll with the punches, since it was a role all about customers. They're just conversations to show your skills and personality, with questions and assessments. I remember one interview where they were all about how you solve problems and work with others.
- Could you start by telling me a bit about yourself?
- What can you tell me about SQL?
