I interviewed with Ramboll back in October 2024. The process had two stages: first, I spoke with the team, and then I had a second chat with the Head of Department. It was pretty straightforward, mostly focusing on my work experience and skills. I was asked one technical question in total. The HR team was really nice to work with – super responsive, attentive, and friendly. Talking to the team and the HOD was great too. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

It was online via Teams. Unfortunately, the two interviewers weren't prepared when asked about the salary band. Neither knew specifics. They promised to follow up with this important info later. As agreed, it was later sent via email. The salary band was completely unacceptable considering my prior experience and the role. With these expectations from the company, it will be difficult to find competent employees.

It was a 30-minute phone call with the recruiter, just the two of us. This happened after we had a quick email exchange where we confirmed I was still interested, set up a time, and they checked if I was open to relocating. The recruiter told me what the next steps would be, which is an interview with the manager if they decide to move me to the second round. The recruiter was really quick to reply and friendly.
