First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ralph Lauren.
Management Assistant
The interview process involved simple, basic questions about my work history. I was asked about my experience and tasks concerning my previous positions. I had to interview with the General Manager and the Department Manager. The interview took about an hour.
- Can you tell me about your greatest accomplishments?
- What has been the greatest team you have been a part of?
Manager
HR reached out via LinkedIn. The interview process included two phone interviews (one with HR, one with a team member) and two in-person interviews. HR wasn't very proactive, so you had to follow up. The biggest issue was that the job title changed twice: it started as Manager, then Senior Analyst, and finally Analyst on the offer letter. It seems they do this often, which is ridiculous. The questions were basic, mainly checking interest in Ralph Lauren and relevant skills.
- What is your interest in Ralph Lauren?
Management
Recruiter reached out via email after I applied. The only thing she asked was about my current and expected salary. I found it a bit rude to ask that, especially so early on, and since I already put my salary on the application. I answered her questions but also let her know I was keen to talk about the role itself, not just the money. I never heard back after that. I guess I was too expensive, but I would have liked to explain why I felt I deserved that salary.
- What is your current salary and what are your salary expectations?
