Product Manager
So, first time I applied for a PM role on LinkedIn but it was filled. Then the recruiter, Brian, reached out about a different team, so I went for it. It went like this: 30 min recruiter call, then a 1 hour Google Meet with a Sr. PM, and finally a 3 hour panel with a Director, 2 Sr. PMs, a Project Manager, and a PM. Got dinged two weeks later, but they said they'd keep me in mind. Took about 5 weeks total. About two months after that, Brian called again about another role on a different team. I said sure, and this time it was: 30 min Google Meet with the Director of Product, then a 3 hour panel with a Sr. PM and 2 Engineering Managers. I got a verbal offer 3 days after that interview, and the formal one the next day. This whole thing took 3 weeks.

Product Manager
I was looking at recent interview reviews for Rally Health, and most interviewees had good things to say. However, my initial call with the recruiter didn't go that well. The recruiter didn't really introduce the company or the role upfront. They asked some typical questions like 'why Rally Health?' and 'why now?'. Then, the recruiter mentioned that because I only have 2 years of PM experience, they wouldn't ask me any product management questions, which I found surprising. I felt I could have answered PM questions based on my experience and understanding of the role. The interview ended shortly after we talked about salary, as my expectations were higher than their budget.
- Why are you interested in Rally Health?
Senior Product Manager
This was an extremely unprofessional and time-wasting interview process. I wish I'd checked Glassdoor reviews first. The interview process spanned over 3 months with phone interviews, after which the recruiter ghosted. The recruiter's communication was incoherent; she initially mentioned an on-site interview after two phone screens but then changed it to a third phone screen. She was unresponsive and only got back in touch when another candidate dropped out, which led to the 3+ month phone interview phase. I've never encountered such incompetent people in an interview process before! It was a terrible, time-wasting, and disrespectful experience. How can you ghost a candidate after five phone interviews? I doubt they even have the budget for on-site interviews, as they tend to keep candidates waiting while looking for cheaper options.
- Describe how you handle stakeholder management.
- Can you explain what a KPI is?
