Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Raleigh Marketing Consultants.
Account Manager
First, there was a quick chat with the CEO to get a feel for the job and company vibe. Then, a more detailed interview with a corporate trainer. This second one covered pay, benefits, what the job entails, and working hours. They wanted to know about your leadership experience and if you had what it takes for this self-starter, integrity-driven, grit-requiring entry-level role.
- Can you tell me where most of your leadership experience originates from?
Account Manager
Had one phone chat and then two in-person meetings. They asked basic things about what makes you tick, your history, and your future goals. I met the CEO for a one-on-one, and then one of the Sales Managers for the other meeting. The questions were pretty similar, though the chat with the sales manager went into more detail.
- Tell me about a time you demonstrated leadership, whether at work or in your professional life.
Account Manager
It was a super conversational interview process. First, I interviewed with Matt, the CEO, who is very smart and young. Then, the second interview was with a team member, who was also very nice. They primarily asked about my personal goals and what I want out of the job experience.
- What is more important to you: salary, growth, or culture?
