First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Railbookers Group.
Account Executive
Three interviews happened. First was an HR meeting to talk about the job, salary, and benefits, and to get set up for the second interview. Second, we did a role-play of a sales process. Third, we reviewed sales performance and your experience for the role, covering what you expect from us and what we expect from you.
- Can you tell me about your current sales experience?
- What are your expectations of the company?
Account Executive
I had to do an online assessment first, and after passing that, I moved on to an initial HR screening. They said it went really well and I quickly got to an hour-long interview that included a role play. I really enjoyed the interviews, especially the first one with Chris. He was great at communicating and made me even more excited about the job. After the second interview, they told me I'd hear back within 48 hours and they'd let me know even if I wasn't selected, with reasons. I waited about 4 days and then followed up with both interviewers, but I heard nothing back. It's been over a month now and I still haven't heard anything. It's really disappointing because I was and still am very interested in the job and the company. It's a shame so many reviews mention the same issue, as it seems like a fantastic company with great people.
- Do you have prior experience in closing sales?
Account Executive
Applied for the Account Executive USA job and was excited to move quickly at first. Passed the assessment and got confirmation via email to move to the next round with another HR person. That talk went super well—they even said I was moving forward and would send materials and set up an interview with the hiring manager. We set up a date and time for that Friday. Come Monday, no invite or materials. Followed up multiple times by email to both HR contacts, but no response. It's been almost three weeks, and the silence is disappointing and confusing. Was really excited about the role and company, but this lack of communication makes me question the professionalism—and legitimacy—of the organization. A simple update would have been great.
