Customer Service Agent
Applied for the job and after a week got the go-ahead for the next step. This involved a 40-minute test with GCSE-level questions, which was a bit unusual. Passed that to have a chat with HR. She then scheduled another interview for the next day with two other people. They asked a bunch of questions, pretty standard stuff. One of them advised keeping answers short and sweet. The job itself seems straightforward, but they said they'd get back to me. It's been 4 weeks now, and I haven't heard back. Considering the time I invested, a simple email stating I was unsuccessful would have been better. It makes me wonder if this is indicative of how they handle actual paying customers or potential clients. Not a great impression to start with.

Content Manager
I applied to Railbookers Group back in early October. About a week later, they sent an email asking me to complete an assessment, which I did the same day. Then, a week after that, HR reached out for a screening interview. During the interview, the recruiter really seemed to think I was a great fit and mentioned I'd hear back that same day. I waited a whole week after the interview before following up, as the silence didn't make sense given how positive the recruiter was. My experience sadly aligns with what others have mentioned. I've been a hiring manager and get that priorities can shift, but it's wild how companies sometimes forget that candidates don't just want these jobs — they might need them for income. Leaving people in the dark without any communication just adds to their stress. I eventually got a single message about a month later, saying they thought they'd have an update by the end of that week. After that, crickets. I followed up two more times and never heard back. At the very least, send a simple rejection email so people can move on, and only express strong interest if you actually intend to follow through. The lack of communication felt unprofessional and like they didn't respect candidates' time or situations.

Marketing Specialist
I had a recruiter call where they were nice and said they'd let me know if I made it through and wouldn't ghost me, but based on other reviews, that seems unlikely. My second interview was with the marketing team, and they said they'd update me on next steps. Weeks passed with no contact, so I reached out and was told I'd get an update by the end of the week, but still nothing. This seems to be a common issue with the company, which is disappointing. Please don't waste people's time if you're not hiring and at least follow up.
- Can you share your marketing and tourism experience?
IT Support Coordinator
It started with a phone screening, then a Teams meeting with HR. After that, I interviewed with the IT manager, and then the VP of Operations. Since it was down to me and another candidate, we both interviewed with the Chief Executive. They were all very kind and genuine, and really wanted to understand my personal values and strengths. Most of the IT questions were focused on process, with a few technical ones thrown in. I didn't get the offer, but it was a good experience, and I wish them the best.
