I first spoke with a recruiter for a quick chat, and then they set me up with the hiring manager. After that, I had four interviews with people I would be working with, and the last step was giving a presentation of a case study to the hiring manager.

So I went through five separate interviews on five different days. I was told I would be followed up with early the following week, but after 10 days of silence, I reached out to the Hiring Manager for an update and was told it would be a few more days. It has now been a month since I completed the interviews and I was totally ghosted! The interviews were positive and moved quickly, giving the impression I was a top candidate. To not close the loop for a Manager level role (for recruiting nonetheless), was rude. I didn’t even received a generic auto-decline from their ATS. If this is how they treat candidates, it is likely indicative of the workplace culture, so if you’re interested in this company I would proceed with caution based on lack of communication and complete disregard for the extensive time one puts into such a lengthy interview process.

I applied online and got a call from the recruiter about a week or two later for a phone interview. It was a really bad experience, probably one of the worst I've had. The recruiter seemed uninterested and spoke in a cold, direct manner, sometimes even rude. I've interviewed with much larger companies, and their recruiters were always polite, no matter the outcome. It's a shame because this company has a lot of negative reviews on Glassdoor, and I can see why. I think it would be better if the hiring team did the initial screen, as HR doesn't always know what they're asking.
