They called me pretty late to set up an interview for the next day. The interview itself involved some typical questions to gauge my personality, like 'what do you do if a customer walks in?' and 'what skills do you have for...?'. The interviewers, the g.m. and her assistant, seemed to think I did great and promised a call with a decision by a specific time. However, they never called. I sent a thank you note right after, and followed up with a call. I was then told that the g.m. had to interview at least three people per the area manager's directive and apologized for not calling. I told her it was fine and that I understood about being busy and following rules. She again promised to call with an answer either way, but again, didn't. It's been 18 days, so I'm taking it as a 'no'.

The whole process was pretty quick. Since I was already working in the same shopping center as Rack Room, I had been networking with the store manager for a while. When a position opened up, I was given an opportunity to interview. It was a pretty basic interview. I did a lot of research on the company beforehand, so I could guide the conversation to highlight my strengths.

It was a pretty easy and quick interview process. They asked basic questions and the staff was nice. They discussed pay and hours before making an offer and also went over scheduling. They were a bit late for the interview because they were busy.
