Group

The interview process was straightforward with some basic questions. A group interview was set for the second round, but when we got there, there was no interviewer. A single sales associate informed the four of us that the interviewer was there yesterday and they had mixed up their dates.

First, there was a phone call, then I interviewed with the internship program heads, and finally, I had a manager interview for the internship role. Both my interviews were on video call and focused on behavioral questions.

They called me pretty late to set up an interview for the next day. The interview itself involved some typical questions to gauge my personality, like 'what do you do if a customer walks in?' and 'what skills do you have for...?'. The interviewers, the g.m. and her assistant, seemed to think I did great and promised a call with a decision by a specific time. However, they never called. I sent a thank you note right after, and followed up with a call. I was then told that the g.m. had to interview at least three people per the area manager's directive and apologized for not calling. I told her it was fine and that I understood about being busy and following rules. She again promised to call with an answer either way, but again, didn't. It's been 18 days, so I'm taking it as a 'no'.

The interviewer seemed to write me off from the start. She acted like she had better things to do. We had the usual back and forth before she abruptly ended the interview and exited the room. She didn't walk me back out to the lobby. I already felt that the interview didn't go well, but that was solidified after my follow-up email to the hiring manager was ignored. Also, I followed up with the HR team member who set up the interview. I followed up with an email and a phone call (I left a message with my details). Both were ignored. Unless you have time to waste, give this place a hard pass.
