First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RaceTrac.
Associate
The interview process had two rounds. First was with the recruiter and then with the manager of a racetrack. It wasn't too difficult overall, but they did ask about work ethic and availability.
- Do you have any other job offers?
- Are you currently in school?
- What are your strongest qualities?
Customer Associate
The interview centered on how well I'd fit with the company. They asked about situations, my actions, and the outcomes. It was mostly behavioral, looking at my characteristics to see if I'd be a good fit for their company. There was also a presentation about the company's history, culture, and community involvement. They also asked if I knew anything about the company, so it's good to do some research and have questions ready for them. It seems like a family-oriented company that values growth and its employees. I was applying for an entry-level role, and they assured me there's potential for advancement.
- Can you tell me about a time you exceeded expectations to help a customer?
Associate
The interview process was good, nothing bad, and they’re very calm and nice about you getting a job there. They also work with you the best way possible and make sure they’re in the same page as you and they aren’t rude about anything. If you aren’t comfortable with something, make sure to let them know and they will make sure you’re comfortable as possible.
- What days are you available to work?
