Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RaceTrac.
Analyst
I went through three interview rounds. It started with a phone screen with the recruiter. Then, I was invited to the Atlanta HQ for three separate interviews with team members and managers. The final round was with the director of the department, also at the Atlanta HQ. Everyone was friendly and easy to talk to. Lots of behavioral questions were asked. Unfortunately, after the final round, I never heard back from the recruiter. I waited a week and found out I was rejected via the candidate homepage.

After I submitted my application, there was a 1-2 week wait before a recruiter reached out via email to set up a short phone chat about my background and the job. Then, less than a week later, the recruiter called again to say they wanted to schedule a video interview with the hiring manager and team members. Two days after that video call, the recruiter contacted me to let me know about a final in-person interview at their corporate HQ. Three days after the in-person interview, the hiring manager called with a job offer. The whole thing took about 4-6 weeks from start to finish.

- What's prompting your departure from your current job?
Analyst
I had 2 interview rounds. First was HR and then the hiring manager, separate. Second round was 3 sessions of 30 minutes with the VP, hiring manager, and director. These were also separate.
- None really...I talked about nonsense with the VP for the whole 30 minutes.
