First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RAC.
Customer Service Representative
It was a group interview, which itself was ok, however I didnt ever hear back. I found it was a waste of time with no feedback, because of this I personally wouldn’t recommend.
- Describe your experience in a general group setting.
- How would you handle a practice call without any prior training?
Customer Solutions Specialist
I applied for a flexible contract role that required availability between 6 am and midnight. Although I had an interview, I didn't get the job because I couldn't commit to working until 8:30 am. They were professional and upfront during the interview. I was offered a second interview for a different role. The contracts are only for 6 months, which they consider probation, but it seems they don't typically retain employees after this period. My current contract is up in May, so we'll see what happens.
- Was becoming a manager something you aimed for in the future?
- What are your thoughts on policies and procedures?
- How would you handle a conflict with a coworker?
Customer Service Representative
I applied directly with the company, no response at all. I applied through an agency ad on Indeed, got called right away and sent for interview with RAC. The interview was done in 1 stage. It was average difficulty, standard customer service questions plus a role play where I was put at a computer + phone and the manager called me, it was okeish. I'm yet to find their response.
- What values can you bring to RAC?
- Tell me about a time you worked under stress and how you handled it.
- How did you manage that stressful situation?
