Data Scientist
The process was as follows: (1) A get-to-know-you call with 2 teammates and HR. (2) A use case to prepare at home (in 2 slides). Finally, at the office in Utrecht, (3) a follow-up on this case within an hour and (4) a presentation of this whole thing to the product owner, a teammate, and HR.
- What are the most important aspects involved in creating a fraud detection classification system? What choices would you make and why?
Data Scientist
The interview process consisted of two rounds. The first was an introductory interview where I was asked about my motivation for joining the team. Surprisingly, there was also a somewhat technical question about how I would approach providing a stakeholder with an overview of the largest bank deposits, specifically looking for an answer involving percentile scores. They also asked about the advantages of using pyspark.
- Can you explain your motivation for wanting to join this particular team?
- How would you tackle the problem of providing a stakeholder with a summary of the largest bank deposits, considering percentile scores?
- What advantages does pyspark offer?
Data Scientist
It was an online interview with regular questions about my past experience and projects. Then, they asked me scenario-based questions relevant to the job. This was the first round. There's supposed to be a second round, but I never heard back after the first one.
- How would you suggest improving how different teams work, and which team would you want to be a part of, along with your reasoning?
