Resource Manager
I had an exploratory informational interview with the hiring manager, set up by an internal referral back in mid-2017. The role's level back then was too junior for me, but we agreed to keep in touch. Late 2017, the actual role at the correct level was posted, and after I followed up multiple times, they went radio silent. I later found out they were close to hiring someone else who fell through, and the role was reposted again in early 2018. My internal connection reached out again, and my info was sent over a third time. I also heard they might have switched applicant tracking systems and potentially lost my application? Anyway, going radio silent on an internal referral is unprofessional. They should have just responded saying I wasn't a fit or the job was filled.
- In what ways has your experience with previous agencies prepared you for working at a global agency?
Manager
They reached out to me on LinkedIn, and the whole process took about three months. I went through at least five interviews, some over the phone and some in person. The difficulty felt pretty average.
- Could you share your past experiences?
Bid Manager
It was a bit intense, I had to do 2 case studies. One I did at home, and the other I had to do in 30 minutes during the interview.
