I was invited to an informational Zoom call. However, the hiring manager immediately started asking interview questions. Even when I mentioned I wasn't expecting an interview and needed to review some concepts, he condescendingly dismissed me and continued with more questions. My overall experience was quite negative due to the hiring manager's lack of empathy. I'm relieved I didn't get the job, as I wouldn't want to work for someone who lacks empathy.

I applied online through the company portal and was given a coding challenge right away. The assessment, called CodeSignal, had to be completed within 14 days. It was pretty tough to solve the 4 coding questions in the 70-minute time limit. The difficulty ranged from medium to hard.

We started with an online assignment, which had easy to medium LeetCode style problems. Then, there was a discussion with an engineer about machine learning application scenarios, including realistic situations people face using Quora. This round was tricky because the interview questions weren't inherently hard, but the answers really mattered.
