Software Engineer
Had 3 technical rounds, mainly covering the basics, talking about my resume, and coding. They asked super basic stuff like CSS and React props. The coding part was standard, like medium-level LeetCode problems. The resume discussion was cool because they wanted to dive deep into the use cases I've handled, including end-to-end testing.
- Questions about CSS props
- Questions on String manipulations
- Questions about React states
Software Engineer
There was an HR Screening round followed by 3 Technical Rounds. The last round was with the hiring manager (Director). They tested my knowledge of software development, past experience, Java, SpringBoot, Web-applications, and REST APIs. You should prepare thoroughly.
- Can you explain all Java concepts?
- Could you ask some SpringBoot and RestAPI related questions?
- Do you have medium questions on DSA?
Software Engineer
It began with the usual 'Tell me about yourself' question, which I always mess up. Then they asked how I understood their business model, which they'd just presented. I remembered parts of it and seemed to satisfy them. Next, they asked for ideas on how to improve it in any way. I said something I still don't get. The following question was about their business (online advertising): how to place ads on a site given the model. This took the longest and they didn't seem impressed. That's when I sensed the rejection, which is what happened. The whole thing took about half an hour.
- Given your understanding of our current business model, how would you suggest improving it?
