The interview had three rounds. The first was a telephonic round where they asked about my intro and projects. The second round was an aptitude test including Quant, Reasoning, Java, Html, CSS, JSP, and two coding programs: one for Palindrome and another to find two elements in an array that add up to a specific number. The third round was a technical F2F interview covering String, Collection, and Basics of Java. The questions were easy but tricky. There were also Algorithm and Puzzle questions. If I couldn't answer, the interviewer would explain it well. The Senior IT recruiter was very supportive and showed respect to everyone, with excellent behavior.

I got a call from HR first, and we had a good discussion. She shared a lot of info about the company and the role. My first technical interview went well too. It was with an Indian guy who was a really good interviewer. His English was excellent, and I easily understood everything he said. He had strong technical skills and always explained problems clearly so I knew exactly what we were trying to solve. The second technical interview, however, was not good. I spoke with a woman who had terrible English and a strange accent, possibly Russian. She was a very poor interviewer, and her questions focused mainly on Spring and Hibernate. I struggled to understand what she was saying or what the questions actually were. The third interview was rescheduled three times because the person I was supposed to interview with was always busy and never called. After that, I didn't hear back from their HR about rescheduling the third technical interview. About 2-3 weeks went by with no word about the third interview, so I eventually gave up.

I had an interview with quinstreet back in Feb 2019. It started with a quick 10-minute phone call covering basic core Java and servlet stuff, like questions about core Java and a few on the servlet lifecycle. The next step was a technical interview, which happened within 2 to 3 days.

  • What is the difference between a set and a list?
  • Is it possible to declare an abstract class as final?
  • Could you explain what a thread is?
