Quill Interview Questions
& Process

The interview was conducted via Google Meet since I was located far from the hospital. Initially, I was asked to give an introduction about myself. Following that, the Head of Department posed a question. Subsequently, the HR department provided details regarding the salary and benefits associated with the position.

I was reached out by a recruiter. A few weeks later we set up a phone interview with the recruiter, then a week later a second phone interview with the hiring manager and lastly a week later a 3-hour on-site interview with 5 different people. The interview process felt a bit chaotic. The initial job description was vague and short. The recruiter didn't know much about the skills for the job. The hiring manager was very professional and approachable but also wasn't clear about the specific duties of the job role. I learned the most about the role during the on-site interview with 5 people from different levels in the company. I wish they would've split the on-site interview into separate meetings over two days, one with the peer/subordinate colleagues and the other with the Director/VP level colleagues. I was exhausted after the first 1.5 hours. And it would've been good to process what I learned from the first interviewers to help prepare for the later interviewers. They ultimately decided to hire someone internal.

I chatted with the company at my school's career fair. They let me know I got an interview, which was one 30 minute interview at their headquarters in Lincolnshire with my manager. The questions were really general behavior questions. He asked about my experience with the programs I'd be using.

I applied in mid-September and got an interview request two days later. The process started with a recruiter call, followed by a meeting with the hiring manager, and finished with the Merchant Directors. It was a really straightforward and clear process. Everything was done online since we're all working from home right now.
