Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Quickbase.
Technical Support Engineer
The interview process was super streamlined and straightforward. Recruiters were friendly and knew their stuff, making the whole thing easy. The technical tasks were pretty unique and interesting; basically, I had to build an app following some specific criteria. It was a 3-step process, and the interviewers were nice, and it all happened relatively quickly.
- Can you discuss any terms from the table that you are familiar with?
Technical Support Engineer
The whole interview process took about 2 months and had a lot of rounds with many people. I could tell there were other candidates still in the running for the final stages because the next steps were delayed. This means they were probably waiting for other candidates' responses or for the employees to interview them. I think this is a great company with a strong foundation. Even though I was bummed about not getting the job, I respect their decision and hope they do well with the person they chose. Something I noticed is that I don't think the interviewers knew who had spoken to me before or who would speak to me next, or what questions had already been asked. To avoid bias, it would have been better to have a group session with multiple interviewers instead of one-on-one. Overall, it was a good experience and I learned a lot.
- Can you share some examples of times you dealt with customers who were unhappy with the service you provided?
Technical Support Engineer
There were a few behavioral rounds, then I had to build something using their platform, which was pretty cool and felt fair. After that, we got together to discuss what I made.
- Can you explain how you used our platform to achieve this?
