Software Development Engineer
So, basically, first there was a test that was like aptitude and coding. Then, a technical round where they checked my domain knowledge. Lastly, I had a manager round where they talked about communication, fit, and my potential.
- Do you have questions about Java fundamentals?
- Can you write SQL queries?
- Do you have logical questions?
Software Engineer
Applied through LinkedIn. Got an assignment to complete and upload to Github. After uploading, had to follow up with HR for next steps. Then had a culture fit call with HR lead about expectations and other details, which was non-technical. After a week, technical round 1 was scheduled. The interviewer had network issues and the whole round was on a phone call where I was asked about NodeJS concepts and linked list. After this, HR kept giving excuses about the manager being away and financial year end. I got a different offer later and HR ghosted me after saying they would discuss my salary expectations. They wanted early joiners, but the whole process took 3 months, seemed like bad management.
- Find the middle of a linked list
- Explain all node related questions
- Explain bind, call, and apply
Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty straightforward and chill. There were 3 rounds in total, and everything went pretty smoothly. The questions weren't too hard, and the interviewers were nice. I had to do an assignment testing my technical abilities for the first round, and the other rounds involved some technical discussions.
- Could you explain Java's Object-Oriented Programming principles?
- Tell me about Java Streams.
- What are some common Java design patterns?
