After sending CV and cover letter, there was a phone interview. We talked about 'why QuBit' and 'why me' for this role. They asked about a current tech innovation I found interesting, and why. Then they asked a strange question: 'What do you think was the number of roses sold on Valentine's Day in the UK?', which they explained was to gauge my analytical skills and approach. After passing this, I was invited to their HQ in London for an interview with 2 people, including the current intern. They reviewed my CV and asked 'why do you want to work with us' again, followed by analytical questions, starting with a classic puzzle about finding a lighter ball using a scale.

First, an HR rep called. Then, a phone interview about my general background and skills with someone from Professional Service. The next step was at the Qubit office, split into two parts: one focused on skills and the other on my CV. HR was pretty responsive and gave feedback after the last stage if you asked. The interviewers were nice.

I talked to HR on the phone, then went to their office for a face-to-face interview. It was mostly about my past experience and skills and how they fit the job. I was asked some odd questions, and it felt like the interviewers weren't very experienced. I guess they weren't interested as I never heard back about moving on.
