So, the interview involves three parts. First, a quick chat to see if you're basically qualified. Then, a technical interview to test your actual skills for the job. Lastly, an HR chat about what the job entails and what they pay.

It was a 4 step interview process with multiple interviews. It felt more like a conversation exploring my passions than a formal interview with some interviewers. They asked basic interview questions and also delved into my clinical background. They seemed more focused on my work ethic and morals than my actual experience.

Other Behavioral

This was a really bad interview experience. First, I had to do this essay-like note-taking assignment, which is always a bad sign. Then, there was a cheesy role-play, followed by a guy asking a lot of 'culture' focused questions. The recruiter was also really odd and went silent. For a mental health company, the hiring process didn't impress me or suggest they care about employees. I was told they were pausing hiring for the role and would reach out based on timezone needs, but then the recruiter ghosted. The whole thing felt fake and awkward. Honestly, I think I dodged a bullet.

Behavioral Case Presentation

Started with an email from a recruiter, then had one interview with the hiring manager, followed by a second interview with 3-5 other people. The recruiter wasn't very helpful and didn't really discuss the role. The first interview was briefly about my background. The second panel interview involved a worksheet and a scenario where I had to explain how I'd respond to a patient, and then we went over my answers. Based on other reviews and seeing the same job postings up for months, I suspect this might be a ghost job posting, possibly because the startup is failing. I was qualified and know others who interviewed, but no one was hired.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • How would you handle an unruly patient?
  • Given a scenario, describe how you would respond to a patient via chat, email, or phone call.
