The hiring journey involved five distinct interviews. Most interviews were about 30 minutes long, except for the technical interview which was about 1.5 hours. The technical challenges were a bit tough but doable, and the interviewers were great at explaining things and answering questions. I met with six people in total: the recruiter, the hiring manager, some engineers, the SVP of engineering, and the CEO. Everyone was super friendly and happy to answer any questions I had about the company.

An in-house recruiter reached out to me first to make sure I was a good fit before connecting me with the team. Then, I spoke with an engineering manager who explained the company's services and discussed my technical background. After that, I had a technical interview involving pair programming. Next, I met with the company leaders to learn about their goals and history. Finally, I met with the CEO, Mario, who shared his story and interviewed me about my background.

Behavioral Technical

I had four interviews with this company. It started with a recruiter call, then I spoke with the hiring manager. After that, there was a technical interview. The final interview was with the SVP of product and engineering. He said I'd hear back the next day, but I didn't hear anything for two weeks. I messaged the recruiter after a week of no response, and she only got back to me a week later on a Friday night. The hiring manager called the next week and said they liked me but hired someone else. It was really rude to wait so long to hear back after four interviews.
