It was a standard process. Started with a recruiter interview, then the hiring manager. After that, I had conversations with various people, mostly C-level execs. The CTO conducted a demo, and I had to complete a task: write a follow-up email. The whole thing was pretty quick.

First, there was an intro meeting with the recruiter. Then, a 30min meeting with the RVP focused on why QM and culture fit. This was followed by another 30min RVP call where we discussed how I'd plan on selling QM and what qualities I bring to the team. After that, I had an RVP call with the CRO where I went over my background and pitched my current and previous companies. Then, another call with the RVP to review what went well and what didn't. Finally, a meeting with the CEO.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview was long but fitting. It began with a typical phone screen from HR, then moved on to the hiring manager. After that, two more steps were put in place to see if we were a good personal, professional, and cultural fit, which involved talking to someone I'd work with closely and a Solutions Consultant. The last stages involved meeting with CxO level people, which gave both sides the confidence to proceed. Even though it was a long process, it felt right, smart, and relaxed.
