First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Quantium.
Graduate Analyst
We started with a quick online numerical reasoning test, mostly checking if you could read tables and do calculations using a formula you hadn't seen before. Then there was a more detailed numerical test where you had to explain your answers to an interviewer. The last part was a behavioral and motivational interview.
- Tell me about your understanding of our company and its activities.
Graduate Analyst
The interview process started with a phone interview where they asked typical scenario-based behavioral and motivation questions. They also asked me to list my client base and career ambition. Next, there was a 1-on-1 interview with 5 questions, 3 of which were technical, focusing on how I'd use data. The final stage was an assessment centre, which included group work, a presentation, a technical test, and an impromptu speech.
- Could you describe a time you handled conflict?
- Can you explain a complex topic to me?
- What are your top three motivators?
Graduate Analyst
First, I sent in my resume. Then there was like an hour of just simple math questions (sums and probabilities). After that, a behavioural call where they asked why I wanted to work there and about my team skills. Then there were some easy analytical questions and I had to explain something to an analyst. I got an offer the next day, it was a really fast process.
- Very basic maths questions and probability were asked in the first one
