First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Quantis.
Sustainability Intern
The process had 3 steps. The first two were behavioral and presentation based. The third step was a case study that I had to prepare in a week, followed by a Q&A session. The presentations were scheduled for 10 minutes, and the discussion was supposed to be 15 minutes but ended up being 45 minutes long.

Talent Coordinator
I received an interview email from the HR Team. They seemed nice, and we had an interview. After the interview, she said she liked our meeting and would get back to me in a week, which I agreed to. Then, I was completely ghosted. I followed up three times, which is a disgrace for a company that claims to be ethical and respectful, especially since they say they are working for the greater good of society. The hypocrisy is baffling, and ghosting is a big no.

Climate Analyst
I was pretty bummed about how this whole thing ended, especially after being in the recruitment process for this role for a total of 6 months. The whole thing, with 4 separate interviews and a bunch of back and forth, took almost 3 months. Then, I got a verbal/unofficial written offer, and after that, they just ghosted me. It started when I reached out to Quantis through someone I knew, and then a HR person (talent acquisition) got in touch. The first interview was with HR to go over my CV, the job specifics, and the logistics and timeline for moving abroad for the role. I was interested in the role being available in France and Switzerland, and I preferred Switzerland. I then had two more interviews with different managers, which I felt went really well and we were on the same page. These interviews felt more like conversations, and I got to ask my own questions. About a month later, I had a fourth interview, which was about 1.5-2 hours long, with a panel. I had to present my plan for a case study that they gave me a week before. The case study wasn't super hard, but it did take about a day to prep. This also felt like it went well. So far, I had a really good feeling about everything, and everyone I interviewed with seemed great. Two weeks later, I was told I had an offer. Before that, I had to confirm which work permit process to start (France or Switzerland). I chose Switzerland, and they read the contract details to me over the phone (now I get why). They mentioned that the Swiss process would be long (4+ months), but I was okay with that. For the first month after the offer, HR and I exchanged some emails about the process and the documents they needed. Then, for the next 2.5 months, it was complete silence. I sent several emails asking for updates, but got no replies. By this point, I had already made some big life and career decisions, assuming I'd be moving countries. Finally, a different HR person emailed to say the Switzerland role was no longer available because of 'changes in the business context.' They said they could look into a role in France, and that it wouldn't take as long this time. I was so disappointed with the lack of professionalism, the poor communication, and the casual way they told me they were rescinding the offer that I turned down their offer to consider the France role. Basically, even though the interviews were mostly good, the post-interview communication (or lack thereof) with HR and the final outcome ruined it all. Their lack of transparency, consistent communication, and empathy for someone who was planning to uproot their life for a job at Quantis was really disheartening.

Senior Consultant
The first interview went well and I was told I'd have a second interview with the department. After a month of silence, I followed up and was informed I was still under consideration. I then connected the company with a major client for an initial meeting and followed up with research relevant to the department. Despite multiple friendly follow-up emails over several months, there was no update on my application. I eventually gave up and contacted the CEO about my hiring experience. He responded quickly, and the hiring department contacted me a few days later to schedule a call. However, the call was not a friendly update but a reprimand for contacting the CEO. The interviewer repeatedly asked why I would do that, failing to understand the arrogance of this stance and the connection between a consultancy's success and its treatment of people. The recruiter's unprofessional behavior and bullying tactics, especially towards someone who stood up for themselves, were evident. I suspect this tone would not have been used with a man. I was shocked by the comment, 'who contacts a CEO?'. It's unsurprising given that senior staff are reportedly leaving. It's a shame for a reputable sustainability consultancy.
