Behavioral Technical Presentation

After I applied, a team lead reached out and we had a good phone screen. Then, I went into the office for a panel interview with 4 team managers, an account manager, and the VP. The team lead was nice at first, but the other managers and the account manager were hostile and unprofessional. They questioned my technical knowledge while looking at my resume and stressed deep technical expertise in security products and competition. The account manager was demeaning about my Salesforce experience and said I needed to be a 'dragon'. Another account manager was more honest, saying I could sell even without deep technical knowledge. The Senior VP was professional and complementary, discussing training and growth. The whole process was confusing, starting positive then becoming negative due to the unwelcoming sales managers and unprofessional account manager. I didn't get any feedback or a final decision.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It's a straightforward process, but they are very selective. You'll start with a phone screen. After that, you'll have a 1:1 meeting or spend about 2-3 hours in multiple 1:1 interviews. They'll give you access to the Qualys Platform, which you'll need to get familiar with to present or sell yourself. You also have to explain how your past work experience aligns with the job. The whole thing is pretty subjective because you'll have 3-4 Senior Staff members and the CEO there. It's basically a pass or fail based on the CEO's mood that day. Honestly, they should trust their employees more. The teams I worked with were all A/B players, solid folks. Good luck!

HR called me to talk about the Salesforce QA job, and we had a discussion the next day. After that, I didn't hear anything back, no calls or emails about whether I was disqualified. It seems the HR team is really bad; they didn't even reply to my email asking about my interview status.
